Privacy

Short version: read-only access, stored in your own browser cookie, deletable at any time.

What we read

If you connect Yahoo, Benchmark requests the fspt-r scope — read-only Fantasy Sports access. It reads your leagues, standings, weekly matchups, rosters, transactions and draft results. It never writes to your league, never posts as you, and never touches your email, contacts, or anything outside fantasy sports.

What we store

There is no user database. Your Yahoo access and refresh tokens are encrypted and kept in an HTTP-only cookie in your browser — they are not readable by JavaScript and are not stored on our servers. Your league selection and setup answers live in a second, ordinary cookie.

League data fetched from Yahoo is held briefly in the server’s cache so the site isn’t re-downloading a decade of history on every page view. Requests that depend on who is asking are never cached.

What we share

Nothing. There are no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no data sold or shared with anyone. Share cards you generate are public URLs — if you send someone a card link, they can view that card.

Removing your data

Use Disconnect Yahoo on the account page, or clear cookies for this site — either removes the tokens completely. To revoke Benchmark’s access from Yahoo’s side, remove it under your Yahoo account’s connected apps.

Attribution

Fantasy data provided by Yahoo Fantasy. Benchmark is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Yahoo, the NFL, or any team.
